Gerald Gurley
Gerald is a 1957 graduate of New Hope High School. He was employed by the North Carolina Department of Corrections for 40 years and retired in 1998. Gerald and his wife, Annette, have one son, Michael and wife, Beth; and two grandchildren, Travis and Miranda Gurley. He and his family are members of Bethel United Methodist Church, where he is currently serving as chairman of the Administrative Council Board. After retiring from the Department of Corrections, Gerald joined the staff of Seymour Funeral Home in 1999.
