Eleanor Davis Scott
January 31, 1923 - July 18, 2010Goldsboro – Eleanor Davis Scott, 87, passed away on Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Mrs. Scott was born in Wayne County on January 31, 1923 to the late Albert Davis and Maggie Cook Davis Langston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Arthur Scott and her daughters, Carol Scott and Beverly Scott Mayo.
Graveside services will be held 3:30 pm Wednesday at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont with John May officiating.
Mrs. Scott is survived by her grandchildren, Ronnie Mayo, Jr and his wife Christie of Goldsboro, Carol Ellen Henn and husband Brian of Salt Lake City, UT, Charlotte Hope May and husband John of Fremont and Samantha Noel Mayo of Fremont; and ten great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home from 2-3 pm Wednesday.
