Doris Davis Wiley
July 27, 1933 - July 28, 2010Goldsboro – Doris Davis Wiley, 77, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family.
Doris was born in Wayne County on July 27, 1933 to the late Cleveland Davis and Lucille Jones Davis. She was married to the late Joseph Clifton Wiley. Doris worked for many years with the Cloth Barn in Goldsboro and later volunteered at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was a faithful member of the Oak Ridge Church of God of Prophecy. Doris will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Moore officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Marie Bryan and husband Harden of Elizabethtown; her sons, Thomas Wiley and wife Brenda of Goldsboro, Johnny Wiley and wife Susan of Dudley and Billy Wiley and wife Cathy of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Stillwell and husband Raymond of Goldsboro and Cleo Nates and husband Tommy of Columbia, SC.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Wayne Wiley.

The family will receive friends Friday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
