Elizabeth Betty Mitchell Aldridge

Dudley – Mrs. Elizabeth Betty Mitchell Aldridge, 74, of 222 Southern Drive, died Thursday at her home.

A native of LaGrange, NC, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Mitchell and Georgiana Potter Mitchell and was married to the late Fred A. Aldridge. 

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Daly’s Chapel Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Aldridge is survived by her sons, Joseph Fred Aldridge, William Marl Aldridge, Jesse Ray Aldridge and Donnie Ray Aldridge; her daughters, Nancy Mitchell, Ava Louise Hinson, Janie Ruth Head and Mary Elizabeth Vanidestine; her brothers, Jesse E. Mitchell, Billy R. Mitchell and Ronald Mitchell; her sisters, Lillie Mitchell Harper and Anne Mae Grice Condon; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Harvey J. Mitchell and David L. Mitchell; and a grandson, Ernest William Hinson.

The family will receive friends Saturday at Seymour Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m.
