Charles David Bailey

Pikeville – Mr. Charles David Bailey, 69, of 382 True Vine Road, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

A native of Wilson County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Nettie Owens Bailey and had retired from Franklin Baking Company with 32 years of service. Mr. Bailey served in the United States Army.


Funeral services will be Thursday, June 13, 2002, at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Interment will be Friday, June 14, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pauline Dunn Bailey; sons, Charles Wayne Bailey of Allen, TX; Johnnie Bailey and wife, Kenetha of Goldsboro and Kenneth Ray Bailey of Goldsboro; and five grandchildren, Kristi Schremp and Tracey Bailey of Goldsboro, Tyler Bailey, Caitlin Bailey and Karah Bailey of Allen, TX.

The family will receive friends following the service Thursday at the funeral home and other times at the home of Johnnie and Kenetha Bailey, 402 N. Cottonwood Drive, Goldsboro.
