Robert Michael Bailey

Goldsboro – Robert Michael Bailey, 48, of 302 Redwood Trail, died Wednesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Texas, he was the son of Air Force Lt. Col. (Ret.) William Joseph Bailey, II and the late Stephanie Louise Bruski Bailey. He was a graduate of Wayne Community College.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father William Ruhl, O.S.F.S. presiding. Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.

In addition to his father, he is survived his sisters, Jane L. Gomes and husband, Dr. Frank B. Gomes and their daughter, Stephanie of Reddington Beach, FL and Susan M. Bailey and husband, Mohamed Al Refai of Pikeville.

He was preceded in death by his brother, William Joseph Bailey, III.

The family will receive friends Thursday at Seymour Funeral Home from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
