Karen Diane Baker


Goldsboro – Karen Diane Baker, 43, of 322 White Oak Road, died Thursday at her home.

A native of South Dakota, she was the daughter of Marvin and Joyce Childress Baker of Goldsboro. Karen was a special education teacher at the Caswell Center and was a graduate of East Carolina University.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jack Sauls officiating. Interment will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Keith Baker of California; her niece, Melody Baker of Goldsboro; and several uncles, aunts and cousins. She is also survived by many friends and her beloved pet children, Katie, Cricket, Shadow, Fletcher, Xena, Meg, and Prissy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local S.P.C.A. or to the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.

The family will greet friends Saturday following the service and other times at her home.
