Doris Guines Barefoot

Goldsboro - Doris Guines Barefoot, 73, of 117 Bear Creek Road, Died
Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. A native of Harnett County, she
was the daughter of the late Princeton and Rosie Hare Guines and the
wife of Earl Barefoot. Mrs. Barefoot was a homemaker and member of
Adamsville Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 22 at 2:00 p.m. at
Adamsville Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Wiggins and Rev. Ray
Smeltzer, officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial
Cemetery.:
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Barefoot is survived by her
daughter, Rebecca Kostenbauder and husband, Jay of York,
Pennsylvania and sons; Tim Barefoot and wife Sharon of LaGrange and
Terry Barefoot and wife, Linda, of Pensacola, Florida; sister,
Shirley Barefoot of Raleigh, N.C. and brothers; Jimmy Guines of
Burlington, N.C.,Larry Guines of Raleigh, N.C. and Ray Guines of
Widen, Georgia. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brandon
Daughtry, Chad Chesser, Taylor Barefoot and Travis Barefoot and
great-grandchildren, Natalie Daughtry, Emily Daughtry, Kenan Chesser,
Aclyn Michelle Chesser and Kyler Chesser.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the
American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1132, Fairfax, Va.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 p.m.– 8:00 p.m.
Monday at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at the residence.
