Kenneth Edward Barfield

Goldsboro – Mr. Kenneth Edward Barfield, 56, 1205 Old Smithfield Road, died Friday, Febuary 20, 2004 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Freuler officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Barfield is survived by his wife, Cindy Mooring Barfield; his children, Heather Herring and husband, Todd of Eureka and Sarah Underwood and husband, T.J. of Pikeville; his step-children, Amanda Barnes, Staci Barnes and Kimberly Barnes, all of the home; six grandchildren; and his brother, Ray Barfield and his wife, Dayle of Pikeville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Barfield and Katie Bell Tillman Barfield and his brother, David Barfield.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at his residence.
