C. B. Bartlett

Pikeville – Mr. C.B. Bartlett, 61, of 100 Bartlett Road, died Thursday at his home.

A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Benjamin Lloyd Bartlett and Hokie Marie Gray Bartlett. For a number of years, Mr. Bartlett was a bookkeeper at Carolina Warehouse in Goldsboro and had also worked with warehouses in Kentucky.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Otis Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Bartlett is survived by his wife, Linda Weaver Bartlett; his daughters, Michelle Bartlett Hamm and husband, Kelly of Pikeville and MeLinda Jean Bartlett of Pikeville; his sisters, Betty Gray Bartlett West and husband, Howard of Belfast and Barbara Bartlett Smith of Pikeville; and his sister-in-law, Jean Kearney Bartlett of Stantonsburg.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Hadley Bartlett.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at his home.
