Clara Belle Bartlett

Goldsboro – Miss Clara Belle Bartlett, 91, died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Willie H. Bartlett and Lou Alphin Bartlett. Miss Bartlett worked with Weil’s Department Store for over 20 years and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Billy Seate and Rev. Robert L. Bame officiating.

Miss Bartlett is survived by four nephews and two nieces and their families.

She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Minnie S. Bartlett and her sisters, Ruby B. Waters, Wilda B. Best and Virginia B. Herring.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church Senior Companion Fund, 204 E. Chestnut Street, Goldsboro, NC 27534.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Don and Shirley Best, 110 New Hope Village Drive, Goldsboro.
