– Victoria Anne “KiKi” Benitez, 21, of 119 Mill Run Place died
Thursday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Victoria is the daughter of Victor E. and Patricia A. Rendon Benitez
of Goldsboro and was a student at Wayne Community College pursuing a
degree in elementary education. She was employed in the Men’s and
Shoe Department of J.C. Penny in Goldsboro and was a member of
Adamsville Church of God. Victoria enjoyed baking and was known for
her great cookies. She was full of life and was loved by many.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 7 p.m. at Adamsville Church of
God in Goldsboro with Rev. J. Wesley Jarman officiating. Funeral
services will be Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at 7 p.m. at Arterro
Funeral Home in Victoria Texas. Burial will be Wednesday, October
22, 2003 at Resurrection Cemetery in Victoria, Texas.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Chastity
Benitez of LaGrange and Cryste Benitez of Goldsboro; her nephew,
Victor Anthony Rodriguez; her paternal grandparents, Bonifacio and
Nicolasa Benitez of Victoria, TX and her maternal grandmother,
Trinidad Rendon of Victoria, TX.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Abelardo
Rendon.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made in her memory to a
Scholarship Fund for Elementary Education at Wayne Community
College, in care of Adamsville Church of God, 3913 McLain Street,
Goldsboro, NC 27530.
The family will receive friends following the service on Tuesday at
the funeral home.
