Hazel Mae Best

Goldsboro - Hazel Mae Best, 60, a resident of The Pines Of Goldsboro, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Marshall Haywood and Eva Smith Best.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Glenn Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Surviving: sisters, Reba Rae Best Ray of Raleigh and Marsha Best Taylor and husband William R. Taylor III of Cocoa Beach, Florida; niece, Shelley Ray Flores and husband R. Thomas Flores, Jr. of Goldsboro; grand-nephews, Alexander Kendall Flores and Braxton Pate Flores.

The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7-9 p. m. at the funeral home and at other times will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. R. Thomas Flores, Jr., 105 Twin Oaks Place, Goldsboro.
