John Marion Best

Goldsboro – Mr. John Marion Best, 82, died today at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation in Mount Olive.

A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late John Walter Best and Victoria Tillman Best and was married to the late Sarah Vinson Best. Mr. Best was a retired repairman with Rollins Appliance Center.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Parker. Interment will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.

He is survived by a sister, Mable Smith of Mount Olive; a brother, Alton Best of Princeton; and thirteen nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Kinzie Bartlett and Emma Langston.

The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service and other times at the home of Don and Sandy Ball, 402 Kuwicki Road, Pikeville.
