Judith Carolyn Hooks Blair

Goldsboro – Judith Carolyn Hooks Blair, of 705 N. Spence Ave., died
Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of Judith Yelverton
Scott of Goldsboro and the late Franklin Rudolph Hooks. Mrs. Blair
was married to the late H. Gary Blair. She was a Jazzercise
instructor and was the instructor for the Family Y’s water exercise
program for the Rehabilitation Program for seniors. Mrs. Blair
attended Stratford College in Danville, Virginia and was a graduate
of Florida State University.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Seymour
Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Bob Bame officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne
Memorial Park.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Carrie
Marie Blair of Raleigh; son, Robert Dred Blair of Goldsboro;
brother, Rudy Hooks, Jr. of Princeton; and stepsons, Cole Blair of
Seaside, FL and Todd Blair of Parrot, GA.
The family will receive friends Wednesday at Seymour Funeral Home
from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
