Deborah Anne Pate Bland


Mount Olive – Mrs. Deborah Anne Pate Bland, 42, of 234 Maysville School Road, died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of C.D. Pate and Margaret Basden Pate and was a district manager with Hardee’s. Mrs. Bland was a member of Bear Marsh Missionary Baptist Church.

A celebration of Deborah’s life will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Bear Marsh Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Michael W. Whiteside officiating.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Christina A. Bland of Mount Olive; her husband, Randolph C. Bland of Mount Olive; her maternal grandmother, Dollie Basden of Warsaw; and her brother, Corbett Ray Pate of Goldsboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bear Marsh Missionary Baptist Church, 1649 Beautancus Road, Mount Olive, NC 28365.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at the home of her parents, 310 Nelson Drive, Goldsboro.
