Edward A. Boldt

Goldsboro – Mr. Edward A. Boldt, 95, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Mr. Boldt was born on October 12, 1912 in New York to the late Earnest Boldt and Helen Conti Boldt. A United States Army WWII veteran, he received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Mr. Boldt was a retired diesel mechanic. He was a member of St. William D’Abbott Catholic Church in Long Island, New York.

A Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Norris, O.S.F.S officiating.

Mr. Boldt is survived by his wife, Evelyn Curley Boldt; his son, Kenneth Boldt and wife, Nanette “Bobie” of Goldsboro; his granddaughter, Jennifer Marie Boldt of Goldsboro; his grandson, Michael James Boldt of Goldsboro and his niece, Dr. Virginia Seary of Atlanta, Georgia.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at 115 Melodie Lane, Goldsboro.
