Hattie Lee Borden

Hattie Lee Borden, 84, died at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center following a brief illness. She was a former resident of the Pines.

Miss Borden was born to Sallie Lee Borden and Murray Borden. She was a retired employee of Borden Brick and Tile and a long standing member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Memorial services were held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the Black Memorial Chapel at the First Presbyterian Church with Dr. William Hufham officiating. Inurnment will be held date in the First Presbyterian Columbarium.

She is survived by her two nephews, Thomas Cox Borden and Dr. Charles Leslie Britt; a niece, Sally Borden Worrell; and sister-in-law, Arabel Cox Zealy.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Murray Borden and a sister, Martha Lee Borden Britt.
