Mildred Setliff Boyles

Goldsboro – Mrs. Mildred Setliff Boyles, 91, a resident of the Sterling House, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Stokes County, Mrs. Boyles was the daughter of the late Winfield Setliff and Sarah Jones Setliff and was the widow of Marlowe Clyne Boyles. She was a member of Sandy Grove United Methodist Church in Lumber Bridge, NC.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ashley Summerlin officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Boyles is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Leonard Kornegay of Goldsboro; her sisters, Hester S. Boyles of Red Springs and Verna S. Allen of King; her grandchildren, Donna Andrews Amos and husband, Robert Amos, Jr., Gary Andrews and wife, Betty M. Andrews and C. Lynn Andrews Parham and husband, Chris Parham; her great-grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Amos, Catherine Taylor Amos, Mary Madeline Amos and Samuel Michael Andrews; and six nieces and six nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Anna Mae Whitaker and Elvira S. Carson; and her brothers, Alton Setliff and Hunter Setliff.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Norma and Leonard Kornegay, 120 Point Shore Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
