Mildred Setliff Boyles

Goldsboro – Mrs. Mildred Setliff Boyles, 91, a resident of the
Sterling House, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Stokes County, Mrs. Boyles was the daughter of the late
Winfield Setliff and Sarah Jones Setliff and was the widow of
Marlowe Clyne Boyles. She was a member of Sandy Grove United
Methodist Church in Lumber Bridge, NC.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Ashley Summerlin officiating. Burial will
follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyles is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Norma and
Leonard Kornegay of Goldsboro; her sisters, Hester S. Boyles of Red
Springs and Verna S. Allen of King; her grandchildren, Donna Andrews
Amos and husband, Robert Amos, Jr., Gary Andrews and wife, Betty M.
Andrews and C. Lynn Andrews Parham and husband, Chris Parham; her
great-grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Amos, Catherine Taylor Amos,
Mary Madeline Amos and Samuel Michael Andrews; and six nieces and
six nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Anna Mae Whitaker and
Elvira S. Carson; and her brothers, Alton Setliff and Hunter Setliff.
Memorials may be made to Sandy Grove United Methodist Church, 308 S.
Bethel Road, Raeford, NC 28376.
The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at
Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Norma and
Leonard Kornegay, 120 Point Shore Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
