Martha Louise Clements Braswell

Goldsboro – Mrs. Martha Louise Clements Braswell, 83, died Saturday at the Brian Center.

A native of Georgia, Mrs. Braswell was the daughter of the late Red Clements and Emma Inman Clements and was married to the late Dagnal Lee Braswell. Mrs. Braswell was a member of Jefferson United Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Doug Johnson officiating. 

Mrs. Braswell is survived by her sons, John S. Braswell and wife, Myrtle of Salisbury and Kenneth Braswell and wife, Joyce of Raleigh; her daughter, Nancy Strickland and husband, James of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Sandra Braswell of China Grove, Linda Scarborough and husband, Frank of China Grove, Ken Braswell and wife, Diane of Raleigh, Eric Braswell and wife, Michelle of Atlanta, GA, and Nan Strickland of China Grove; great-grandchildren, Erica Braswell, Adam Braswell and Hannah Braswell, all of Raleigh, Justin Scarborough and Jacob Scarborough of China Grove; three step-grandchildren, Lisa Pope of Raleigh, Albert Strickland of Goldsboro and Edward Strickland of Apex; and several step-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Nancy and James Strickland, 105 Glenn Drive, Goldsboro.
