Abiding Faith Edge Carlton

Goldsboro – Mrs. Abiding Faith Edge Carlton, 59, of 216 Peachtree Drive, died Thursday at her home.

A native of Conway, SC, she was the daughter of the late Duffy and Lola Etta Causey Edge.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack L. Sauls officiating.. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Carlton is survived by her husband, James L. Carlton; her daughters, Anita C. Dant of Goldsboro and Brenda C. Johnson and husband, Mark of Japan; her sons, James Alan Carlton and Jason Scott Carlton, both of Goldsboro; her adopted daughter, Liz K. Jackson of Goldsboro; her sisters, Wonnetta Smith of Cornelia, Georgia, Pauline Bryant of Conway, SC, Mary Simpson of Clinton, SC and Hope Dinkins of Conway, SC; her brother, Daniel Edge of Longs, SC; her grandchildren, Sara Renee Dant, James Matthew Dant, Zachary Adam Johnson, Eric Bradley Carlton and Stacie Marie Carlton and her adopted grandchildren, Carmen Ann Jackson and Kenneth James Jackson.

The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home Friday from 7-9 p.m. and other times at the residence.
