Marjorie White Casey

Goldsboro – Mrs. Marjorie White Casey, 76, of 156 Blueberry Road, died Saturday at her home.

A native of Perquimans County, she was the daughter of the late Archie Bell White and Blanche Winslow White. Mrs. Casey was a retired school teacher and had worked as the church secretary for her church, Goldsboro Friends Meeting, for a number of years.

A celebration of her life will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Goldsboro Friends Meeting with Willie Frye officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Casey is survived by her husband of 49 years, J. Frank Casey; her sons, Stephen Casey and wife, Melanie of Raleigh, and Kevin Casey and wife, Sherry of Cary; her grandchildren, Joshua Casey, Morgan Casey, Bennett Casey and Paige Casey; her step-mother, Virginia White of Hope Mills; her brother, Lyndon White and wife, Eloise of Belvedere; and her sisters, Thelma Skinner and husband, Charlie of Hertford and Mary Frances Twiddy and husband, Pat of Hope Mills.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael White Casey and her sister, Patricia Dillon.

The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service and other times at her residence.
