James Earl Caulk
 Goldsboro – Mr. James Earl Caulk, 70, of 301 Connie Circle, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Charles Henry Caulk and Callie Barwick Caulk and graduated from Goldsboro High School. Mr. Caulk retired in 1998 from Shepherd Electric with 43 years of service and was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Whitfield and Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Caulk is survived by his wife, Annette Paschal Caulk; a daughter, Susan Annette Wagner of Surf City; two sons, David J. Sasser and wife Twilla of Salem, OR and Michael R. Caulk of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, Christy Wagner Cook, Dustin Andrew Wagner and Christopher Michael Caulk; three step-grandchildren, Tonya Walls, David C. Sasser and Daniel Sasser; two step-great-grandchildren, Wyatt Walls and Shania Walls; and his brother, Charles H. “Pete” Caulk and wife, Lois Ann of Orangeburg, SC.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Jean Williams and a brother, Jimmy Carl Caulk.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at his residence.
