Goldsboro – Mrs. Dorothy “Peachie” Buddensick Christman, 84, of 126
Perry Drive, died Wednesday at her home.
A native of Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles
Buddensick and Florence Sullivan Buddensick and was the widow of
William John Christman. Mrs. Christman was a member of St. Mary
Roman Catholic Church.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at
St. Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Norris, O.S.F.S.
presiding. Interment will be at a later date in Arlington National
Cemetery.
Mrs. Christman is survived by her sons, William Charles Christman of
Goldsboro, Budd Edward Christman and wife, Emily of Chesapeake, VA
and Christopher Brian Christman and wife, Cheryl of Goldsboro; her
daughter, Barbara DiGregorio and husband, Leonard of Secaucus, NJ;
five grandchildren, Danielle DiGregorio, Michelle DiGregorio, Jack
Christman, Cassandra Christman, Nicholas Christman and Christopher
Christman; and two great-grandchildren, Alexander Jung and Michael
Jung.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Charlottte Rust.
The wake service will be held Friday at Seymour Funeral Home at 7
p.m. and the family will remain following the service to greet
family and friends.
