Marie Corbett Colie
 LaGrange – Mrs. Marie Corbett Colie, 68, of 151 Oakdale Drive, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Richard “Dick” Corbett and Pearline and was the devoted wife of Rev. Alton Colie. Mrs. Colie was retired from R.G. Barry of Goldsboro and was a member of Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. She was the former secretary of the Kidney Foundation.
The homegoing services for Mrs. Colie will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Grady officiating. Burial will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Colie is survived by her daughters, Martha Ann Moore and husband, Douglas of LaGrange and Betty Glenn Walker of LaGrange; her sons, Alton Colie, Jr. and Wendall Colie, both of LaGrange; her sisters, Nancy Scott of LaGrange, Lola Capps of Goldsboro and Margie Witt of Martinsville, VA; her brothers, Donald Corbett, Joe Corbett, and Clayton Corbett, all of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Doug Moore, Jr., Micah Paul Moore, Dan Walker, Jason Walker, Gina Walker, Michael Shayne Colie, and Susanne Marie Combs; and great-grandchildren, Steven Walker, Georgia Walker, Brittany Colie, and Colby Combs.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Angeline Burroughs.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Martha and Douglas Moore, 173 Oakdale Drive, LaGrange (Shine’s Crossroads Community)
