Sarah Elizabeth Brock Corbett

Goldsboro – Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Brock Corbett, 68, of 917-A Hood Swamp Road died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Pitt County, she was the daughter of the late Ennis Brock and Maggie Anderson Norfolk.

Funeral services will be Monday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Grady officiating. Interment will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Newsome Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Corbett is survived by her husband, Joe Corbett; her children, Eddie Corbett and wife, Teresa of Goldsboro, Robin Ivey and husband, Edd of Goldsboro; Kenneth Corbett and wife, Sharon of Goldsboro and Tammie Davis and her friend, Alton Barrow; a sister, Debbie Marshall and husband, Tommy of Goldsboro; her step-father, Chuck Norfolk of Dudley; an aunt, Queenie Bassnight of Farmville; and eleven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Brock, Ervin Brock, Buddy Brock and Danny Norfolk.

The family will receive friends Monday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Robin and Edd Ivey, 867-A Hood Swamp Road, Goldsboro.
