Billy Daniel Crawford

Billy Daniel Crawford, 69, died Tuesday.

A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Thad T. Crawford and Betty West Crawford and was married to the late Shirley Jean Smith Crawford. Mr. Crawford was a retired painter and served in the United States Army. He was a member of El Bethel Assembly.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends C.R. Holder and Steve Holder officiating. Burial followed in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mr. Crawford is survived by his son, Billy Daniel Crawford and wife, Christy of Mount Olive; and grandchildren, Joshua Crawford and Christopher Howard.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Christen Webb, Helene Thomas and Virginia; and brothers, Thad Crawford, Howard Crawford and Eugene Crawford.
