David Alexander Crawford

Goldsboro – MSGT (Retired) U.S.A.F. David Alexander Crawford, 66, of 101 Pate Circle died today at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Pontiac, Michigan, he was the son of Anna Tucker Crawford the late Alexander M. Crawford and retired in 1974 from the United States Air Force. He also retired from Waukesha in Goldsboro in 2002. Mr. Crawford was a member of the Coin Club and the Genealogical Society.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Joyce Carter Crawford; his children, David Lance Crawford and wife Faye of Garner; Melanie C. Brady and husband Ken of Princeton, Krystal C. Parrish and husband Scott of Goldsboro and Shawn Crawford of the home; his sisters, Kathleen Martinchek of Petoskey, MI, JoAnn DeBell of Lake Orion, MI and Janet Crawford of Keego Harbor, MI; and thirteen grandchildren, Cheryl Crawford, Victoria Crawford, Lance Crawford, Tyler Crawford, Sarah Crawford, Brandon Cline, Justin Cline, Kristen Taylor, Kalyn Myers, Kelvin Myers, Hope Alexandria Myers, Austin Crawford, and Brittany Pearce.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 971, Goldsboro, NC 27533.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
