Ernestine Forbes Daniels

Goldsboro – Mrs. Ernestine Forbes Daniels, 81, of 608 S. Taylor Street died Sunday at her home.

A native of Martin County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Guy Forbes and Lynda Ange Forbes and was married to the late Earl Roscoe Daniels. Mrs. Daniels was retired from the Wayne County Public Library and was a charter member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Daniels is survived by her son, Thomas G. Daniels of Goldsboro; two daughters, Annena D. Ellis of Zebulon and Linda D. Yarborough of Milwaukee, Wis.; 8 grandchildren; two brothers, Guy Forbes of Robersonville and Earl Forbes of Rocky Mount; and a sister, Lillian Browning of Durham.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Forbes of Williamston and two sisters, Otie Hollis and Barbara Burch, both of Hillsborough.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
