Johnny Walter Daniels, Jr.
 Fremont – Johnny Walter Daniels, Jr., 76, of 126 Peacock Street, died Sunday at Wilson Medical Center.
A native of Lenoir County, he was the son of the late Johnny W. Daniels, Sr. and Margaret Williams Daniels. Mr. Daniels was a retired paint and wallpaper contractor and served in the United States Army during World War II.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. R.N. Williford, Rev. Proctor Marshall and Rev. Danny Freuler officiating. Burial will follow in the Pikeville Cemetery.
Mr. Daniels is survived by his wife, Dorothy Blizzard Daniels; his children, Troy L. Daniels of Goldsboro, Juanita D. Edmundson and husband, Jimmy of Pikeville, Billy Daniels and wife, Ginger of Goldsboro, Rev. Donald C. Daniels and wife, Becky of Farmville, and David Daniels and his special friend, Myra of Pikeville; a sister, Grace Lancaster and husband, Buddy of Pikeville; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Linda W. Daniels.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
