Louise Garner Davis

Goldsboro
– Mrs. Louise Garner Davis, 77, died Friday at Wayne Memorial
Hospital.
A native of Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Mack D.
Garner and Beulah Barwick Garner and was the widow of Bud Davis.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Wesley Jarman officiating. Burial will follow in
Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter, Beulah Farmer of Goldsboro;
her sons, Walter Holmes of Dudley, Buddy Holmes of Virginia, Keith
Holmes Westbrook of Albertson, Arnold Lee Flowers of Sleepy Creek,
Calvin Russell Teller of New Jersey, Marshall Davis of Goldsboro,
David Davis of Goldsboro and Nelson Davis of Goldsboro; her
brothers, Ray Garner of Kinston, Kenneth Garner of LaGrange and Mack
“Bobby” Garner of Mount Olive; her sister, Peggy Smith of Mount
Olive; eighteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Roy Oliver Holmes and a brother,
Buddy Garner.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at Seymour
Funeral Home.
