Travis Maxwell Davis
Goldsboro – Travis Maxwell Davis, 74, of 250
Perkins Mill Road, died Tuesday at his residence.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the
late Lemuel and Mary Howell Davis. He was the retired manager of
Dumas Oil Company and was a retired Command
Sergeant Major with the United States Army Reserves and served his
country during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Davis was a member of Oak
Heights Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 4:00
p.m. at Pine Forest United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev.
Horace Johnson officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi Keen Davis;
stepson, Danny Keen and wife, Lee Ann of Goldsboro; sisters, Selma
Gufford of Rosewood, Mae Williams and husband, Les, Esther Sasser
and husband, Audrey all of Goldsboro and Dot Holt and husband, John
of Kinston; and a granddaughter, April Keen of Wilmington.
The family will receive friends Tuesday at Seymour
Funeral Home from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.,
following the graveside service and other times at the residence.
