Will Davis

Goldsboro – Mr. William A. Davis, 36, of 108 Hyacinth Road died Saturday in Missouri.

A native of Wayne County, he is the son of Hubert Avery Davis and Margaret Joyce Davis of Goldsboro. Mr. Davis was a professional flat track motorcyclist with Moroney’s Harley Davidson Racing Team in Newburg, NY.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Sauls officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Rhonda Kittrell Davis; a son, Cole Avery Davis of the home; brother, Frank Davis and his wife, Bonnie of Goldsboro; a sister-in-law, Cindy White and husband, Mike of Lexington, SC; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Ann Kittrell of Goldsboro; paternal grandfather, Hubert Avery Davis, Sr. of Seven Springs and his nieces, Emilee White and Alyssa White of Lexington, SC.

Mr. Davis was preceded death by his grandparents, Lois Spence Davis, Clarence Frank Grant and Julia Walker Grant.

The family will receive friends Tuesday at Seymour Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. and other times at the residence.
