Frank E. Deans

Frank E. Deans, 77, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Erastus and Ruth Scott Deans. He was retired manager of Wayne Wholesale Grocery Company and was a World War II veteran. Mr. Deans was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Memorial services were held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Reverends Charles Morrison and Bob Bame officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Celeste Adams Deans; and sisters, Virginia Crumpler of Goldsboro and Mabel Mozingo of Grantham.
