Franklin Junior Dixon

Goldsboro – Mr. Franklin Junior “Buddy” Dixon, 59, of 1108 Atlantic Ave., died Wednesday at his home.

Mr. Dixon was born in Wallace, NC and was the son of the late Norman and Rosa Belle Darden Dixon. He was employed with Food Lion as a meat cutter.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mr. Dixon is survived by his wife, Mary Barfield Dixon of LaGrange; a daughter, Frankie Hamilton and husband, Phillip of Austin, TX; a son, Billy Edward Dixon and wife, Linnie Keen Dixon of LaGrange; a sister, Rose Wall and husband, Donnie of Goldsboro; four grandchildren, Justin Hamilton, Kelly Hamilton, Carrie Keen and April Lin Keen; and a loving friend, Brenda Kivett of Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
