LaMonte Hill Dubberly

Fremont – Mrs. LaMonte Hill Dubberly, 77, of 205 Hooks Ave., died Wednesday at her home.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Thaddeus Calhoun Hill and Isabel Tomlinson Hill. Mrs. Dubberly operated LaMonte’s Gift Shop in Fremont and served as a den mother for the Cub Scouts. She was a life-time member of Fremont United Methodist Church and was also a member of Fremont Fire Department and Rescue Squad Ladies Auxiliary and the Annie Best Circle. 

Graveside services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont with Rev. Martin Armstong officiating. 

Mrs. Dubberly was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Dub Dubberly; her daughters, Mary Susan Stevenson and husband, Bob of Austin, TX and Joan LaMonte D. Norton and husband, Eddie of Fremont; her son, David Dubberly and wife, Debbie of Franklin, VA; a brother, T.C. Hill and wife, Ava of Fremont; her grandchildren, Jessica Dubberly, Rob Stevenson, Dave Abernathy, Nick Dubberly and Elle Dubberly. 

Grandsons of Mrs. Dubberly will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
