Kathleen Maultsby Dudley
 Goldsboro – Mrs. Kathleen Maultsby Dudley, 85, died Saturday morning at the home of her caregiver.
A native of Bladen County, Mrs. Dudley was the daughter of the late Louis Alexander Maultsby and Margaret Goldston McKay Maultsby and was married to the late Hubert James Dudley. Mrs. Dudley was a graduate of Duke University and received her Masters Degree from East Carolina University. Mrs. Dudley was a librarian and retired in 1982 from Eastern Wayne High School.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Rev. Earl Dulaney will officiate. Burial will be Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 2107 Liberty Street, Durham, NC.
Mrs. Dudley is survived by her daughters, Kay Dudley of Raleigh and Shirley Deans and husband, Benny of Goldsboro; her son, Jim Dudley and wife, Carol Ann of Raleigh; and four grandchildren, Trey Deans and wife, JoAnne, Brooke Deans, Caroline Dudley and Michael Dudley.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the Eastern Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Oberlin Road, Suite 208, Raleigh, NC 27605 or to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 1608 E. Pine Street, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke United Methodist Church and other times at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Benny Deans, 209, Myrtle Road, Goldsboro.
