Sue Dell Cox Edmundson

Goldsboro – Mrs. Sue Dell Cox Edmondson, 90, formerly of East Pine Street, died Monday at the Brian Center. Mrs. Edmondson was the widow of Thurston C. Edmondson, Sr.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member. Dr. William Hufham will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at the church in McChesney Hall. Private interment will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Mrs. Edmondson is survived by her son, Thurston Cooper Edmondson, Jr. and wife Gail of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Ty Edmondson and wife Kimberly of Goldsboro, Scott Edmondson and wife Anne of Greensboro and Kris Edmondson and wife Katy of Orlando, FL; her loving great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Scott Jr, Becca, McKinley, Cooper IV, Cairns, and Virginia; and her sisters, Lucy Baker of Hampton, VA, Margie Stanley of Greenville, Doll Miller of Tampa, FL and Mildred Johnson of Washington.

Memorials in memory of Mrs. Edmondson may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 1101 E. Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cooper Edmondson, 125 Fairmax Road, Goldsboro.
