Doris Gregory Fail

Gastonia - Doris Gregory Fail of Gastonia died Thursday, Sept 4-03.
She was born January 18, 1926 to A.Z. and Lillie Orton Gregory in
Goldsboro. She graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1943. After
graduation, she worked as a telephone operator with Southwestern
Bell Telephone and General Telephone Company, Tampa Florida. She met
and married Ralph W. Fail of Goldsboro. They have a daughter, Joyce
Kaye Hartung of Gastonia, and a son Gregg Winston Fail of Arlington,
Texas.
She was also blessed with 2 grandsons and 3 granddaughters, 1
Tarheel great grandson and 1 Long Horn great granddaughter.
Doris is a life long Presbyterian and a member of the First
Presbyterian Church of Gastonia.
She was a former member of the American Legion Wayne Post 11
Auxiliary of Goldsboro.
Doris left Goldsboro in 1957 to follow her husband who was employed
by the Army & Air Force Exchange Service to assignments in several
States, as well as, Europe and Asia.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First
Presbyterian Church in Gastonia. Interment will be Monday at 11 a.m.
at Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro

Chapter Alzheimer Assn.,
