Dorothy Gurley Forehand

Goldsboro, NC -- Mrs. Dorothy Gurley Forehand,75, of 3861 U. S. 117 N., died Saturday. A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Nelta Thompson Gurley. Mrs. Forehand was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Wayne County Extension & Community Agency, and TOPS#1.

Funeral services will be 7 P. M. Monday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Neal Salter officiating. Interment will be 2 P. M. Tuesday in Wayne Memorial Park.

Surviving: husband, Lester G. Forehand, Jr.; daughter, Lynn F. Johnson and husband Al of Pikeville; sons, Charles Lester Forehand and wife Jackie of Grimesland and Michael E. Forehand and wife Diane of Goldsboro; brother, R. B. Gurley and wife Milna of Goldsboro; special sister-in-law, Maye Gurley Myers of Goldsboro and Kathleen Anderson of Goldsboro, grandchildren, David Forehand, Jonathan Forehand, and Candi Johnson.

Mrs. Forehand was preceded in death by a brother Ralph Gurley.
