Mary Wood Game

Goldsboro – Mrs. Mary Wood Game, 69, of 1507 Mimosa Street, died Tuesday at her home.

A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Mary McKeel Wood and was the co-owner and operator of Happy Jack’s in Goldsboro. Mrs. Game was a graduate of Pine Level High School and was a member of the Golden Agers Club.

Graveside services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Crocker Cemetery in Pine Level with Rev. Timothy Creel officiating.

Mrs. Game is survived by her husband, William S. “Jack” Game of Goldsboro; a son and daughter-in-law, William Jeffrey Game and Linda Game of Goldsboro; a granddaughter, Abigail Tess Game of Goldsboro; a brother, Gletha Wood of Smithfield; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her residence.
