Raye Lanier Farmer Geist

Raleigh, NC -- Mrs. Raye Lanier Farmer Geist, 64, of 504 Kings Parkway, died Saturday night at Wake Medical Center. A native of Nash County she was the daughter of the late Luthur David and Beulah Alvania Rochelle Lanier. 

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Monday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, Goldsboro, with Pastor James A. Payne, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Surviving: companion and love, Bobby R.Wentz of Raleigh, NC; daughters, Tracy Farmer Payne and husband, Jim of Midland, MI and Francine Farmer Long and husband, Matthew of Windsor, NC; sons, Jim Farmer and wife, Annette of Roswell, GA, David L. Farmer and wife, Kim of Goldsboro, and Stephen C. Farmer and wife, Peggy of Antelope, CA; twin sister Faye LaVelle, of Homosassa, FL; and sister Arlene Smith of Rocky Mount, NC and thirteen grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son Timothy Bryan Farmer; sisters Judy Bulfin and Mildred Royster; brothers Earl Lanier and Lamon Lanier.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home and other times at the residence of David and Kim Farmer, 2708 US Highway 70 West, Goldsboro, NC.
