Mark John Gettle

Goldsboro – Mr. Mark John Gettle, 38, of 204 Allen Drive, died Friday.

A native of Madison, Wisconsin, he was the son of Mary Claffey Gettle of Goldsboro and the late George Keith Gettle. Mr. Gettle was a computer programmer with APV Baker in Goldsboro. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed bowling with the Friday Night League in Kinson.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor William Ordelt officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Baker Gettle; his daughter, Kelly Gettle of the home; his son, Brett Gettle of the home; his brother, Keith Gettle and wife Gloria and their children Morgan and Allie all of Raleigh; his mother-in-law, Ann Baker; his brother-in-law, Robert Baker and wife Karen of Mount Olive; his sisters-in-law, Kay Scheetz and JoAnne Baker of Goldsboro; and nieces and nephews, Sara Baker, Alison Baker, Meredith Baker, Lukas Baker and Melissa Koos.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at his residence.
