Eunice Burns Goad

Goldsboro – Mrs. Eunice Burns Goad, 77, of 1148 New Hope Road, died Wednesday at her daughter’s home.

A native of Tupelo, Miss., she was the daughter of the late Will Burns and Ada Hagood Burns and was married to the late Master Sgt. Wade R. Goad. 

Graveside services will be held today at 4 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. M.O. Sears officiating.

Mrs. Goad is survived by her daughter, Anita G. Parrish and husband, Douglas of Goldsboro; her grandsons, Jessie Douglas Parrish, Justin Wade Parrish and Tyler Ellis Parrish; and her son, Robert P. Goad. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital, Memphis, TN.
