Emil Bruno Amaldo Goldbeck


Goldsboro – Lt. Col. (Retired) U.S.A.F., Emil Bruno Amaldo Goldbeck, 79, of the Pines, died Sunday at his home.

A native of Carlstadt, New Jersey, Mr. Goldbeck was retired from the United States Air Force and was a member of the Air Force Association, Retired Officers Association and the Reserve Officers Association. He was also a member of the Goldsboro Elks Lodge and the Disabled American Veterans.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 5, 2002 in Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.

Mr. Goldbeck is survived by his daughter, Jeanette Cantrell of Troy, OH; sons, George A. Goldbeck of Chapel Hill and Patrick A. Goldbeck of Greensboro; a step-daughter, Mrs. L. Glen Sweet of West Chester, PA; step-sons, Mark W. Canfield of Virginia Beach, VA and Craig L. Canfield of Marietta, GA; a brother, George P. Goldbeck of Scottplain, NJ; four grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2315A Sunset Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
