Floy Creel Goodson

Goldsboro – Mrs. Floy Creel Goodson, 80, of 3912 E. Ash Street, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Lenoir County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Ida Becton Creel and the widow of Joseph Thomas Goodson.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 7:00 PM at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Elbert Reeves and Rev. Doug Bartlett officiating. Interment will be Monday at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by a daughter, Ruby Fail and husband, Bobby of Goldsboro and their daughter, Kim Johnston and husband Curtis; a son, James Goodson and wife, Elizabeth of Birmingham, Alabama; four other grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home of Bobby and Ruby Fail, 808 Lynch Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
