Sanders W. "Bo" Grady

Bo Grady, 63, died Wednesday at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, NC after a long illness. He was the son of Hattie Wilson Grady and the late Berry Swift Grady.

Mr. Grady was a 1958 graduate of New Hope High School and was a 1962 graduate of East Carolina University, where he was a member of the ROTC and received his commission in the United States Air Force. He earned his Masters Degree in Science from the University of Arkansas in 1981 and was a member of the Theta Kai Fraternity. Mr. Grady retired from the United States Air Force in 1984, after 22 years as a Pilot and a Civil Engineer. He worked with Wilson Grading, LLC from 1985 until 2002.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery with Bill Garner officiating.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Anne Grady; three sons, Dean Grady and wife Suzi of Springfield, Virginia, Daniel Grady and wife, Stacey of Snoqualmie, Washington and Mark Reynolds of Seven Springs; three daughters, Betsy Brown and husband, Danny of Seven Springs, Julie Souder and husband, Randy of Charlotte, and Jennerleigh Grady of the home; three brothers, Spencer Grady of Pennsylvania, Wayne Grady of Goldsboro and Keith Grady of Ohio; and eight grandchildren, Josiah Grady, Allison Grady, Olivia Grady, Parker Grady, Sydney Grady, Austin Reynolds, Emma Souder and Dylan Souder.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
