Lucile Thompson Grantham

Goldsboro – Mrs. Lucile Thompson Grantham, 83, of 1300 S. Harding Drive, died Thursday morning at her home.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Louis Thompson and Alice Underhill Thompson and was married to the late Colon O. Grantham. Mrs. Grantham was a member of Northview Christian Church.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park. Dr. Ned Sauls will officiate.

Mrs. Grantham is survived by her son, C.L. Grantham of Raleigh; daughters, Sandra Hadden of Goldsboro, Shirley Gaymon of Morehead City and Annie Reboli of Goldsboro; a sister, Julia Rice of Provo, Utah; a brother, Billy Thompson of Asheville; and two granddaughters, Ashley Reboli and Roxanne McLendon.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Norwood Thompson of Cary and Louis Thompson of Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
