Nancy Flowers Grantham

Goldsboro – Mrs. Nancy Flowers Grantham, 88, of 165-B Grantham Farm
Lane, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Wayne County, she was a the daughter of the late John
William and Mary Reaves Flowers and the widow of Joe M. Grantham,
Jr. She was retired from Southern Bank in Mount Olive. Mrs. Grantham
was a member of Falling Creek United Methodist Church where she
served as a Sunday School teacher and a member of the United
Methodist Women.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at Falling Creek
United Methodist Church with Rev. Craig Langston officiating. Burial
will follow in the Falling Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Ms. Gail Ward of Mount Olive, Mrs.
Dottie Keen and husband, Don of Grantham and Betty Franklin and
husband, Joe, of Rosewood; her sons, John Philip Grantham and wife
Dianne and William “Billy” David Grantham, all of Grantham; her
grandchildren, Debbie Lindquist, Lisa Hanks, Suzanne Sarda, Carlton
Keen, Joseph Franklin, III, David Franklin, Amanda Price, Hannah
Grantham and Cullen Grantham; her great grandchildren, Greta Hanks,
Evelyn Hanks, Vincent Hanks, Richard Lindquist, Abby Lindquist,
Elizabeth Sarda and David Sarda; her brother, J. W. Flowers and
wife, Doris of California; and sister-in-law, Lois Flowers of
Kinston.
She was preceded in death by a son, Joe M. “Buddy” Grantham, III, a
sister, Lucille Thigpen and a brother, Don Flowers.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to Falling Creek
United Methodist Church, 299 Falling Creek Church Road, Goldsboro,
NC 27530.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM
at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
