Sue Clark Green

Goldsboro – Mrs. Sue Clark Green, died Thursday at the Brian Center.

A native of Stanley County, she was the daughter of the late Dock Pearson Clark and Eliza Elmetty Cooper Clark and was the widow of William Howard Green, Sr. Mrs. Green was a member of Pineview Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert L. Bame officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Green is survived by her sons, William Howard “Bill” Green, Jr. and wife Susan of Goldsboro and Johnny Clark Green and wife Marsha of Goldsboro; a brother, Earl L. Clark of Gastonia; two sisters, Freda Jordan of Gastonia and Jerry Payseur of Gastonia; a sister-in-law, Mary Cloniger of Newton; three grandchildren, Dana Radford, Caroline Green and Jonathan Green; and two great-grandchildren, C.J. Radford and Brook Radford.

The family will receive friends Friday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Bill and Sue Green, 2990 Hwy. 111 North, Goldsboro.
